Camelot finds that the Microsoft Robotics offers a major step forward in robotics and in particular integration of robots with the rest of digital infrastructure. Microsoft Robotics can do for robots what Microsoft Windows has done for the PC.

Camelot adapts the Microsoft Robotics technologies into our software solutions.

Today, it is hard and costly to integrate with automation equipment (in particular robots) in the automation industry. All vendors have specific interfaces and programming language. Microsoft Robotics will bring a more open access to automation equipment and hereby more integrated solutions. Furthermore, the offline technologies of today (e.g. reuse valuable CAD information) will be applicable in real-time.

The synergy of integrating Camelot technologies and Microsoft Robotics technology is a state of the art robot offline programming and simulation application which interfaces most industrial robots and other equipment that supports the Microsoft Robotics interfaces.
